Welcome to the SaaS (Software as a Service) User Group

The SaaS User Group is a conglomerate of industry professionals promoting growth in the software industry through events, education, promotion, and the fostering of strategic industry relationships. The SaaS User Group was created by Hosted Solutions as an educational endeavor to provide a forum for business leaders involved in the design, development, manufacturing, distribution, and integration of software as a service products, as well as related services that are sold through on-demand channels. The SaaS User Group is the definitive source for information about the SaaS industry

Events
This year we will be hosting (2) significant events in the 2nd and 4th quarters. The first event, April 19th-23rd, will come in the form of a panel-based, Software-as-a-Service Roadshow to be held in multiple regions. The second event (Q4 – date TBD) is being targeted as a Software-as-a-Service Awards Event to recognize innovation and excellence of providers in the SaaS space.

Website Redesign
This year we will be going through a major overhaul of www.saasusergroup.org to add a much need sprinkle of Web 2.0. The site will still serve as a portal to our LinkedIN forums, and a calendar of events. New features will include: Quarterly Newsletters, a SaaS Directory, Quarterly Featured Providers, SaaS Related Whitepapers and Content.

Regional Chapters
We began as the Carolinas’ SaaS User Group, and as such, have a strong presence in the Southeast. The need to focus outside of our region was quickly realized, and are now focusing cycles on expanding our reach outwards. I encourage anyone who is interested in starting up a regional chapter to please reach out.
